We're doing our part to close the well-researched 30 million word gap for children and, when possible to assist newcomers to the USA who wish to learn English.
Most recently, we have offered to Family Shelter Service to provide access to SmartyAnts, a product from the Achieve3000 suite of products designed to teach PreK to 2nd-grade children to read and develop the fundamentals of fluency.
Our hope is that we can receive donations to provide tablets to families with children when they are leaving the shelter and continue to support, motivate and accelerate reading performance during these early years.
These resources come at a cost for which donors are greatly appreciated. If there are children that have deficits in reading and writing in your community, please also let us know and we'll do our best to identify resources to help.
Please help us serve, and bring your ideas and solutions, and let's explore the wealth of service opportunities as collaborators by reaching out to us.
